Designer Vignettes

For many years, the SFFAS has invited four interior designers to help beautify the front entrance of the Festival Pavilion by creating a vignette inspired by the annual theme. This has proven to be a very popular aspect of the show and creates a striking first impression for visitors. The 2007 entrance vignettes, coordinated by Lewis Sykes, featured designs created by talented designers and firms including: Anna Maria Delgado, Angela Free, Jay Jeffers, Tish Key.

The unifying theme for 2007 was Modern Design Classics, with a focus on the first half of the 20th century. Linking to the Loan Exhibition and related Lecture Series and Catalogue essay, each designer was asked to highlight a decade: turn of the century, 1920s, 1930s-40s, 1950s-into 60s.
